The northern part of the garden includes the extremely hardy Finnish elepidote hybrids. There is also a separate area for yakushimanum hybrids. In 2003 there were approx. 70 planted rhododendron hybrids (elepidotes, lepidotes and azaleas). The plants are still young, but after some years the view is covered with rhododendrons, some over 2 meters high.
